We explore plant interactions with the environment, with an emphasis on their response to drought, heat, and other stressors.
Our faculty, staff and students explore plant interactions with the biotic and abiotic environment. Their emphasis is on plant response to drought, heat, salinity and plant pathogens, but it also includes beneficial interactions with other organisms. The research spans molecular and genomic approaches that use modeling and field research to boost the production and sustainability of economically important ornamental plants and crops.
