Academic advisors help you access services, provide academic advice, and support your goals. You’ll likely have at least two academic advisors: one for your major and a general college advisor. Your major advisor guides you through your declared program of study, including course selection. A general Career & Academic Services college advisor provides broad support including helping undecided students select a major, processing forms, interpreting policies, assisting with course schedules, and offering career preparation services.
We recommend you meet your major advisor at least once a semester to make sure you’re taking the correct courses for your graduation timeline. Schedule appointments with your major advisor by phone or online through CatCloud.
