Research interests are centered on the study of badnaviruses and geminiviruses, focusing on a multifaceted approach that includes designing, conducting, and reporting experiments to diagnose, characterize, and understand the phylodynamics of these viruses. This involves delving into the interactions between host and plant-infecting viruses at both biological and molecular levels.
